If I could change...

If I could change CPS 100 class, I would change the test. I think the most important thing is whether we can deal or not. Honestory, I just don’t want to remember the specific words and positions where the command is. Next, I stop using the text book. Although we can hardly read it, it is very expensive. The text book was the highest costing than the other text, in my case in this term. The instructions on the class webpage are useful and easier to read rather than the textbook. Basically, I could enjoy the class. I am tending to be Mac fan. (but the problem is the cost…) A vriety of the functions of Computer Mr.Poza showed us were very interesting. Thank you!

When I made my webpages for the class project, I used DigiCame Ninja 2002 and GIMP2. Those are photo arrange application software. I conpressed and added some arrenge in the pictures. It was hard stuff, but it was fun! I did not use some pictures that I arrenged… By the way, I don’t still satisfy it. I wanna make something more conprex. To do that, I have to buy a apprication software like Photoshop. It is too expensive for me to afford. Photoshop would be more than 70,000 yen. Please tell me something cheep or free painting software. If someone want free painting software, I will recommend GIMP2. You can get it easily. If you are interested in it, please try it.

What I want to learn about Computer

Computer has various features. Now the extent I can deal is so close. I want to learn more things, for example, making music, CG, animation, website, programs, and so on. I am learning how to use computer, in other words, how to grip the pencil. So I want to learn how to write. On the Internet, the doors to the world are always opening. Whether to step in it is up to me. If I focused on something I want to learn now, I would do into the programs. I meant to learn about Java program by myself, but it was very difficult. It might be kind of easy stuff. There was, however, a pleasure that I could touch with the program even if it is easy stuff. Now what I want to learn about Computer is the computer language.

Free topic with Computers

Does eveyone satisfy with Computers? I cannot satisfy yet. First, it is not still to adjust with bringing out. Second, there are still too many steps to do something on Computers. Third, HDD fan is noisy. Fourth, there are too many viruses. Fifth, my windows XP doesn’t have Power Point application. Sixth, a lot of people don’t have moral on the Internet. Seventh, the equipments are too expensive for me. Eighth, I want the search engine to develop more. It is often uneasy to use. Ninth, it is not easy to write mathematical formula (just don’t I know about that?) Tenth, the Internet is still independent from other medias. Eleventh, there are a lot of problems with the mouse. Twelveth, I cannot put laptop PC on my lap, because it is hot!

Problems with Computers

I can consider some of problems with Computers. First, there are some very good programmers who want to show off their ability. And they do it by hacking, making viruses, and attacking other’s computers. Second, Microsoft Windows dominates the markets of Computers. I think it is not a healthy market, because it is difficult to conpete the prices of them. Third, children can be exposed to harmful websites. It is not saying too much that there is nothing to protect children from them. Forth, Computers are very useful, but, on the other hands, Virtue of Anolog is existing. But we are losing it. Fifth, Computers keep us stay indoors. Many people retired from the real world, because they can live in the Internet, with Computers. Sixth, some P2P softwares can invade the copyrights of music, movie, PC software, and so on. Final, Government reaction is too slow especially in Japan. There is almost nothing to protect us from Computer crimes. Computers open the door to the new world. Our world has rules to live, so that new world must have rules and laws.

Computers in the Future!

Computers in the future…a lot of movies and animations(especially in Japan) suggest those. On many scenes, Computers can understand our languages, for eample, KITT in Knight Rider(one of my favorits!), DORAEMON, and so on. So we can talk to Computers and order with voice. I think almost information will be databased. Ubiquitous tecnology will develop, and there will not be wires except for AC adapter. Variety electoronics will be simplefied into like a cell phone. By downsizing HDD and battery, and by development of bendable display, the real size note PC will be there. Computer crazy will increace more than now, because there will be another created complete world on the Web in the future. So they are living on the vertual reality world. There will apear two types of life styles. One type of people is those who choose to depend on Computer tecnologies; however, anoter is those who decide to go back to nature. I hope that there will not exist segregation and poverty on the earth, and eveybody can select own way to live.

Present - PC equipment vol. 2

I want ProTools something good applications to draw and design, but nobody would want them. ProTools is a software that I can make music in a circumstans as same as the pro-musician's recording studio. So, What I want to give to my friend is HDD mp3 player, because I want it and it is useful. Now my PC volumes are shortage. It can be potable HDD. So, I can put other data in it. And Mp3 is better than the other potable music player. Even if he or she, I give it to, didn’t know much about PC, they must like to listen to music. I hope that they would have interest in the world of PC. I think mp3 can be the door that people participate in PC easier than before.

my PC history

When I was 5 to 6 years old, I met PC, first. It was MSX (I forgot the version of it.). My father bought it. And he typed some game programming. And I and my older brother played those. I remember that there was not still floppy disc, so my father used a cassette tape. It took long time to read the program. Two or three years later, my brother bought new version of MSX, but we used it like NINTENDO. We never used it as a computer, I think.
Secondly, when I was 12 to 14 years old, my father bought a word processor, because my brother entered the university. I could hardly touch it, then. The first time I used Windows PC was in junior high school class. It was Windows 3.1. So there was no icon. Then I just used Microsoft Word, I think. My generation was unlucky. After graduated elementary school, the computer lab was established. And after graduated junior high school, those PC was changed new one, Windows 95.
Finally, in late 1999, Windows 98 has come to my house. And also the internet was connected. Now I use Windows XP home edition, with ADSL.
